Peter grew up in Gikambura- about 5 miles outside Nairobi and now lives in Kentucky. A graduate of KMTC Nairobi, The University of Indianapolis and Marylhurst University, Peter have had a long career in Medical rehabilitation services and involvement with the youth. Peter says his decision to join Farova was largely inspired by the words of the St Jude’s founder, Danny Thomas who wrote: “All of us are born for a reason, but of all of us don’t discover why. Success in life has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It is what you do for others” The challenges faced by today’s youth in Kenya forces some to destructive ways and behavior. “If through my efforts, contributions or guidance only one youth’s life is positively changed, I am gratified”. Peter believes that by providing the youth with opportunities to succeed (Education, extra curriculum activities and health) in life,ensures a thriving, healthy and safe society.
